How long have you been in business?
Since 1997 – INspiration is currently celebrating our 22nd Anniversary!
What inspired you to start it?
INspiration was born from a concept of a furniture retail experience which focuses on quality rather than price point.
In 1997, INspiration Interiors opened our doors and welcomed in the start of “Home Fashion with an Attitude”. This first showroom, located at Pearlridge Center Uptown, delighted the homeowners in the fast-growing West Oahu bedroom communities. With a showroom of just 18,000 sq ft, INspiration focused on the growing global popularity of contemporary home and office furnishings, customer service and a multi-million dollar in-stock inventory for quick deliveries. From the start INspiration’s furniture selections strived to be “Quality Driven instead of Price Driven”.
How are you different than your competitors/peers?
INspiration introduced modern, contemporary furnishings to the Hawaiian Islands.
How do you create relationships with your customers?
INspiration develops relationships with designers, developers and directly with consumers within our community at our three brick and mortar locations which total roughly 140,000 sq ft of display galleries. Our website and social media have become a convenient place to communicate with our customers on the neighboring islands.
In addition to our showrooms and digital presence, we are involved in partnerships with local non-profit organizations which we support throughout the years.
How did you first hear about Greenington?
We had been traveling to the furniture shows for many years and sought out a sustainable furniture supplier which fit our modern aesthetic.
What sold you on deciding to sell Greenington products?
What didn’t? Elegant, timeless designs. High-quality construction for smooth, easy use, and exceptional durability. An incredible and beautifully natural, eco-friendly alternative to solid hardwood. Amazing, hardworking staff at Greenington who are always available and go above and beyond for their retail partners. It was the easiest decision we could’ve made.
What is your favorite Greenington piece?
My personal favorite collection is the Azara collection. I think this collection shows beautifully as it continues to expand into office and bar/counter height dining options.
